Supporting detainees in the justice system who hear, see, or sense things that others don't

Voices Unlocked is a UK-wide project supporting detainees who hear voices, see visions, or have alternative sensory experiences or beliefs

Voices Unlocked supports detainees and the staff responsible for their welfare through peer support groups, specialist training, 'lived experience' focus groups, and developing communications to raise awareness in prisons, criminal justice institutions and forensic settings. More here

Voices Unlocked aims to reduce the rates of suicide, self-harm, drug use, and violence in prisons, criminal justice institutions and forensic settings that have been linked to voice hearing. More here

Voices Unlocked has since 2010 pioneered and developed resources, support services and training for detainees and the staff responsible for their welfare in fifty UK prisons, criminal justice institutions and forensic settings. More here
